The Venice agreement, signed by France, Italy, Great Britain, Portugal, Poland and Holland in 1993, is in the beginning of the creation of International Anglo-arabian Confederation (CIAA).

 

The purpose of the CIAA is:

To uniform the rules of all the members stud-books

To have a definition of agreement for all the countries

To develop and promote of the anglo-arabian breed

To help the improvement of the breed and develop exchanges between the countries

 
 

For some years now, CIAA getting bigger with the accession of new countries. Nowadays 14 producing countries have joined the confederation:
Germany, Belgium, Brazil Spain, USA, France, Great Britain, Italia, Morocco, Poland, Portugal, Sweden, Switzerland, Tunisia.

 

All these countries produce 2000 anglo-arabian horses every year.
